0402 & 0403
The compact rod seal type 0402
& 0403 is a compact seal consisting
of a fabric reinforced U-ring with an integral rubber sealing part.
The elasticity of the rubber part achieves an excellent sealing
performance at low pressures. The fabric reinforced U-ring forms a
sealing film at the rod surface, reducing the coefficient of friction
and extrusion of the whole set and extends the operating life time.
The
rod seal type 0402 is used for sealing piston rods in hydraulic
cylinders. The rod seal type 0403 is designed for sealing parts with
rotating or spiral movement. It is convenient for sealing rotary
connections, spiral spindles and rotaring shafts. The triangular PTFE
ring installed at the rear side of the U-ring reduced the coefficient
of friction.
